                                                      ABRAHAM LINCOLN

To the Parents and Patrons of Southside ISD,
On behalf of the Southside ISD Board of Trustees and Administration, we are enthused about this coming year and the future of our district.  Our collaboration has resulted in two Recognized and two Exemplary elementary schools and many other campus and department accomplishments.  Engaging students in academics and supporting their participation in extracurricular activities has had a positive impact on student performance.  We believe in the journey toward developing an organization that is receptive, responsive, and resourceful in service. It is with an attitude of service that we are breaking through the barriers that allow for better connectedness with our students and with our community.   The support, guidance, and expectations of our board of trustees have supported an environment of productivity and accountability.
Creating new  pathways to better communication, sensitivity to the challenges parents face, and establishing a climate of partnership account for the success,  progress, and hope for a better future.  Thank you for your continued support and involvement in your childs education.   Behind every successful student, are loving and supportive adults and effective teachers.  We strive to make a difference everyday.   Our goal is that of continued improvement in everything we do to serve the Southside ISD community for what we do affects the present and the future.
